Turn the Page tells the story of an exhausted performer and his band driving all night, trying to make the next gig. He thinks about all the hazards of living on the road as he practices his craft of being the "Star". I believe it does have an element of sex addiction, albeit an element that is very common in all men: As he is riding the night out, his mind wanders. "On a long and lonesome highway East of Omaha You can listen to the engine Moanin' out his one note song You can think about the woman Or the girl you knew the night before…"
The night before, last week, 35 years ago. Those thoughts seem to be the default place our mind may turn to when we are not actively engaged.
